Jaqui Dee

Jaqui started her DJ career playing Progressive and Electro House.
Within only 3 months of starting DJ’ng she was accepted by USM Records as one of the female DJ’s playing on 5FM’s Deckalicious show. Three of her sets were played on the show before the show was taken off the air.

She also featured on the Ultimix at 6 by DJ Fresh on 5FM and when Vinyl Frontier was brought back onto the 5FM airwaves, she was a fundamental part of the Line-Up in the opening show. Her set followed the set of Troydon, a well known DJ from New York originally from Joburg.

As an Electro DJ Jaqui has play with DJ’s such as Ian f, Shash Martaninga & Shareida Jardine from 5fm and club dj’s such as Seedy, Dizzy, Spiro and Paul Almeida.

 In July 2006 she went to China where she was part of the DJ line-up as well as hosting (MC)

the opening of a Club in Shanghai. There she played alongside big House names such as Nat Monday, Marco V & NuBreed.

Since her move to Cape Town in Aug 2007 she started playing Psy Trance. On occasion she plays a few Electro sets one of which was at Liquid where she opened for Derek the Bandit.
